Cattle in the United States
Most of the dairy and beef cattle in the United States are fed corn. This system is unsustainable and a major pollutor in the world today. I believe the first step to combating this issue is learning all of the facts about the current system. In order to design a more sustainable system, it is first necessary to know exactly where the problem is, which means mapping where and how cattle are produced.

Factory farms often leak chemicals into waterways and release toxic gases into the air from manure. These harmful pollutants can have negative impacts on the surrounding communities if they are not effectively monitored. In order to ensure the health and saftey of the surrounding neighborhoods states should have monitoring sites in close proximity to these farms. These monitoring sites must be mapped in order to determine if they are places in logical geographic locations.
